As you progress through the stages in Forge of Empires, it's essential to have an effective strategy for your arc swap group. In this article, we'll delve into the pros and cons of different methods to help you maximize your rewards and prints.

One popular approach is to swap the first three positions (P1, P2, and P3) and then self-level with the remaining resources. This method has its advantages, particularly when it comes to collecting bonus points (BPs). However, some players argue that this approach isn't as efficient in terms of fuel points (FPs).

Recently, I had a discussion with fellow arc swappers who strongly disagreed on which method is more effective. One player insisted that swapping the first three positions and then self-leveling is more FP-efficient, despite my calculations showing that the second method saves 97 FPs. Another player suggested that swapping only the first three positions (P1, P2, and P3) is more efficient.

To shed some light on this debate, let's examine two different approaches:

Method 1: Swap P1 (330), P2 (220), and P3 (100), and then self-level with a focus on priming for the next level.

Method 2: Swap P3 (100), P4 (90), and P5 (80), and then self-fund enough to prime, followed by getting help from someone else to take P1 (209) and P2 (105).

It's clear that both methods have their own advantages. Method 1 prioritizes BP collection, while Method 2 focuses on FP efficiency. The key is to find a balance between the two.

In our guild, we've adopted a hybrid approach for arc swaps at level 9-10. We swap three positions and self-fund a bit to prime for someone else to take P1 and P2 with 1.9 help. This strategy allows us to conserve FPs while still collecting BPs.
